My main squeeze turned 30 today! I cannot believe he is out of his twenties. Apparently, this birthday feels different than other birthdays and Matt said he finally feels like he should have four kids. I told Matt weeks ago that I'm not good at presents and that he needs to just tell me exactly what he wants! He ended up getting himself a new concealed carry gun and holster so he did the work and got the gift! He also told me he wanted a flag cake which is great since his birthday is on flag day! I went with that theme and we decorated the house red and blue! We blew up 30 balloons and wrote on the back of them some of the things we love about him. I was going to do breakfast in bed but he was hitting the gym and didn't want a heavy meal. He opens his presents which were are follows. He got a genie lamp which everyone will get to use on their birthday and you essentially get to boss around everyone on your birthday! He got a present that had a bullet wrapped up to remind him of his gun gift. He got a large knife that I wrapped a paper on that told him he would be going to social ax on Saturday with Sam which was the gift from Debi and Faun, that will be fun! He got a button up shirt that had American flags on it. He got two gift cards, one to cafe rio and one to coldstone which we used today! He also got a picture of the incredibles 2 movie poster and tickets to go to the movie tomorrow with the family which was a gift from my parents! He loved everything and the kids had a good time helping him open it! We sang to him and he blew out his candles (whit started crying cuz she thought they were for her so we relit them and all the kids took a turn.) Matt's first birthday lamp command was that we would eat cake for breakfast! I've never seen the kids so surprised for excited. haha. Matt went to the gym and then we went out for lunch and ice cream! When Matt got to work his desk was decorated and he got some treats! Then Debi sent CHIPS chocolate chip cookies to his work and that was yummy! All in all, he had a wonderful day and we are so glad we get to celebrate his wonderful guy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABE!
