Spring Semester 2016

Is it funny that I see my life in terms of Semesters? Well Spring semester started out a little rough and had some HUGE changes for our family and it was also amazing! We were on vacation in Texas right before Christmas break was about to end when we got a call from the people we were renting from and they told us that they were moving home and we needed to move out. Talk about stressful! Thankfully Heavenly Father was looking out for us because our awesome friends offered to let us move into the basement of their empty house while they tried to sell it. So we got back from vacation on a Wednesday and we were all moved out by Sunday. My family is SO amazing. My parents and Heidi drove up and Megan and Jeremiah came down and they help us move everything. That much stress probably isn't good for a hugely pregnant lady, or for anyone really but we got it done and it was fine. 

Our next excitement was that Matt was accepted to Graduate school at the University of Utah. He will be getting a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Our third excitement was that Matt went out for "one last ride before the baby" and ended up shattering his collarbone. He got surgery 3 days before Whitney was born. Thankfully everything worked out alright.

Our fourth and most exciting thing was that we had our third child! Sweet Whitney Ann Jamison! So obviously there will be an incredible amount of pictures of her :)

Our last exciting thing of Spring semester was that MATT GRADUATED!! 

It has been a long time coming and he has worked so hard to get here! He graduated cum lade and we are incredibly proud of him!

Where is your faith?" -Elder Neil L. Andersen. This talk in April 2011 changed our lives forever. While it has been incredibly challenging to raise a family, work and have Kristin and I attend school, it has totally been worth it. While we all have obstacles to overcome and challenges to face. I am showing you IT IS POSSIBLE. Every semester presents its own unique challenges, but if you're willing to grind the solutions will arise and you will overcome. So whether you shatter your collar bone, get surgery then have a newborn 4 days later, just remember it's possible! Not only can you do it, but you can do it well. Don't let a difficult class, or challenging circumstance keep you from pursuing your dreams.
