TWO MONTHS
Well they say time flies when your having fun but it also flies when your not having much fun either! It has been a pretty tough 8 weeks with this sweet little man. It is the hardest thing in the world to see your baby in pain and crying but not being able to do anything to help them. Tyler has been pretty miserable with his colic, however he has been getting much better and seems the slightest bit more comfortable. We started him on gripe water a few weeks ago and it has been SUCH a big help. Night time is a joke around here though and most nights neither he or myself get any sleep. He is a very nasally sleeper and sounds like a bull dog, not to mention he is the squirmiest little bugger! He loves, loves, loves to be held which I love to do! He is such a little squish and has the biggest cheeks. He gives gassy smiles every now and again and they are the sweetest things! I am going to be in so much trouble when he can do that consciously (I remember saying the same thing about Claire and it is so true her smile melts my heart!) I feel like I have been sort of in zombie mode do to lack of sleep but there is just something about having a sweet little newborn that makes all the long nights so totally worth it! Last night I had him sleep in Claire's bed and he slept so much better so I think its time to move him into a crib and (fingers crossed) hopefully we can all get some sleep around here! Tyler, although you have been in pain and fussy for the great part of these two months you have added so much to our family and we are eternally grateful God gave us such an amazing, handsome and strong little man!
Who knew having a toddler could be SO much fun and SO hard at the same time?! She is adjusting really well to having a sibling, even though she likes to try and step on him.... She LOVES to be outside, all day, everyday, she is our little out door girl! She has become a little parrot and can talk so well! It kind of freaks me out that she is big enough to have a conversation with. She loves to sing, especially when she is brushing her/anyones hair! She loves watching "shows", Leo and Stitch is by far her favorite! Which is why we are going to have a luau for her 2nd birthday! We have moved her to a big girl bed! It is the cutest little bed that matches her old crib. The first two nights she got up and we had to put her back in bed but since then she sleeps through the night and comes in our room when she wakes up which is totally cool/crazy! Our little princess is growing up so fast! She is still totally obsessed with wearing shoes and with candy (we have to spell it in our house or she gets too excited!) She must have gotten her sweet tooth from her dad! She likes water and swimming a lot more this summer then last so it has been fun to take her to the town center and to the pool! We took her to swim at Veyo Pool and it sure brought back tons of memories! She is still the sweetest/sassiest little peanut and she is perfecting the art of temper tantrums so we are learning ways to help her deal with her frustration. Well each month with Claire is more fun and exciting then the last it is such an honor to help her learn and discover all the things life has to offer!
