Daisy

It breaks my heart to be writing this. Our sweet golden retriever Daisy passed way on December 5th, 2014. We had found out a few months prior that she had cancer in her ovaries but we did not expect it to progress as fast as it did. On December 4th we thought she was going to pass away she hadn't been eating for a few days, could barley walk, and her breathing was very labored. She made it through the night but the next morning we made the extremely difficult decision to have her put down. She was a wonderful dog and had been in our lives for 9 years. To say it has been difficult and heart breaking is an understatement. The kids saying goodbye was the saddest thing and when we came home without daisy Claire asked where she was and then she started crying when she said she went to heaven and she would walk around the house saying, "my daisy died". She is greatly missed but we are so happy to have had all the years and memories we did with her. Rest in peace sweet daisy dog!
